I spent a great evening at Holdenby House on Tuesday meeting lots of gorgeous couples planning to tie the knot there in 2012. I also met lots of other fantastic suppliers including the lovely Emma at High Times. Emma is a fantastic wedding planner but also runs Coach House Entertainment supplying the best in live entertainment and DJs. Check out her website for lots of fun and funky ideas to make your day that bit special.
Also in attendance were the Ariella String Quartet who played beautifully.
The house was stunning, as always and very warm and welcoming and reminded me of why it is one of my favourite venues to shoot at. To find out more about this very special venue, visit the Holdenby House website where you’ll see some gorgeous photographs (ahem) or Katherine and Richard’s wedding. I’ve also posted a small gallery on Facebook: www.facebook.com/samanthahookphotography
Rosie popped into the studio for a portfolio shoot with a difference. She needs some great photographs to take to Actors’ Agents to kick-start her career.
Luckily, we not only have a fab. studio to work in, but we also have some great locations here, and Rosie made such a great model, so it wasn’t hard to create a large and varied portfolio for her. However, this just wouldn’t have been the same without the work of my favourite make-up artist, Rachel Liney. As ever, Rachel did a fantastic job creating some really contrasting looks from natural to editorial, all of which looked perfect on-camera.
You can see more of Rosie’s shoot on my Facebook page.
