In Hazel Gap Barn, Rachael and Sam found the perfect venue for their laid back, effortlessly cool wedding. The main barn is beautifully rustic and lends itself perfectly to vintage, country ustic wedding styling.
Their ceremony was moving and light hearted and was shared with lots of family and friends, all of whom were clearly moved to see these two lovelies tie the knot.
Just look at that excitement!
Rachael made such a beautiful bride, teaming a flowing Augusta Jones gown from Frances Day bridal with flowing curls and a stunning flower crown by Debbie Yates. Amy Wilkinson helped complete the look with soft romantic bridal make up. It suited Rachael perfectly.
The bridesmaids wore pretty flowing gowns in blush pink, perfect! The most important thing about them was how close they clearly are to this amazing bride and their friendship was a big part of what made the day so special.
Sam had a hair cut, expecially for the big occassion, but I was delighted to see those amazing curls had remained. He chose a simple waitcoat, which looked amazing, to complete his groom’s look.
How stunning did this awesome couple look on their wedding day? This awsesome!…
The sun shone all afternoon and the guests were happily enjoying the beautiful courtyard at Hazel Gap until it was time for the wedding breakfast. After some heartfelt and hilarious speeches it was time to hit the dancefloor. Rachael and Sam are big clubbers so didn’t want your average wedding music played. Jamie at Spreadeagle disco understood this perfectly and brought Ibiza to Nottinghamshire, ending the day with some big tunes guaranteed to keep the dance floor full.
I was joined on the day by the amazing Unique Visuals, a videography husband and wife team. I lvoed working with them! They were chilled and laid back and have produced the most perfect film of this gorgeous wedding day.
What an awesome wedding! Thank you Hazel Gap and thank you Rachael and Sam!
